Job Duties
Work in a Savings Branch and perform sales activities, including actively and effectively promoting products and services to customers in support of individual and Branch sales goals.
Act as a resource to Savings Branch employees in the area of Loans, and provide feedback and training for making Loan referrals.
Use excellent communication skills, ?customer-first? attitude, and professionalism to develop relationships with potential Loan customers in the Branch.
Perform duties as a Savings Branch teller as required.
Develop customer relationships and target new Loan customers for the Branch.
Follow up on referrals of Loan customers received from Savings Branch employees.
Conduct interviews with potential Loan customers to identify products that best fit their needs and discuss Loan products and the benefits of World products and services.
Gather relevant information from potential Loan customers and enter information into a database.
Provide feedback and training to Branch employees regarding techniques for making Loan referrals.
Attend and complete appropriate Savings training, computer-based training, and training on Loan-related topics to stay well-informed of changes and developments in World?s Loan products.
Develop a two-way referral relationship with Atlas investment representatives in the Branch.
Respond to customer inquiries and answer customer correspondence.
Open new accounts and access customer accounts.
Establish retirement accounts and overdraft protection, process collection drafts, and handle lost passbooks.
Audit cash boxes, negotiable items, safe deposit boxes, and legal files.
Process escheated safe deposit boxes and Savings accounts, wire transfers, and currency transaction and customer incident reports.
Handle safe deposit boxes and all ATM functions, including issuing, replacing, reissuing, and processing dispute claims, and deposit balancing.
Act as Vault Teller for the Branch.
Balance cash drawer and transaction totals in comparison to computer records daily.
Assist in preparing reports necessary for Branch balancing and operations.
Assist in maintaining Branch environment in accordance with Company guidelines.
Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Successful completion of World?s Senior Customer Service Specialist training, OR 1-2 years of prior banking or retail supervisory experience.
1 year of experience working in a face-to-face sales environment with the ability to meet sales expectations.
At least 1 year of mortgage industry experience with basic understanding of Underwriting and Appraisal guidelines preferred.
Exemplary interpersonal, customer service, and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good planning, prioritization, and time-management skills to meet established and varying deadlines.
Familiarity with World?s Loan products.
Proven ability to adapt and respond appropriately to evolving work demands.
Ability to solve problems and perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Experience with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a plus.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office® applications.
