SBA Commercial Underwriter

SBA Commercial Credit Underwriter. Responsibilities include SBA eligibility testing, business/personal financial analysis in accordance with SBA 7A, Express and 504 loan programs, and customer interaction. Analyzes complex financial and credit information for Commercial business or high net worth customer loan packages according to business unit standards. Underwrites loans with aggregate credit exposure based upon approved credit authority limits. Compiles, analyzes, and documents loan data and credit risk, borrower and property information, and coordinates activity in support of credit approval process. Investigates credit standards and determines credit worthiness of businesses and understands financial statements of business and individuals. May perform research and analysis related to loan projects. May negotiate loan provisions.
Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:3-5 years commercial underwriting experience. Advanced credit analysis skills involving both business and personal financial date. Proven ability to make sound/correct underwriting recommendations. Experience with direct customer interaction
* Preferred Skills:Experience in government guaranteed/SBA lending.
