Risk Management Manager 2 (Modeling and Analytics)Business Direct, a division within the Wells Fargo Diversified Products Group, is seeking a senior manager to join the Risk Department and play the central role of managing all aspects of underwriting and behavioral model development. You will be asked to use your highly developed quantitative/analytic ability and your strategic insights to successfully manage, coordinate and oversee the design, development, implementation and tracking of statistical models and other quantitative risk assessment tools based on our existing portfolio and product offering, in addition to quantifying risks associated with new products and programs. You will be required to adhere to the most up-to-date corporate and regulatory guidelines on credit scoring and will be a key member of the team that interacts with internal and external auditors. A further requirement is a track record demonstrating a constant desire to look for and execute on ‘breakthroughs’. You will be asked to demonstrate your abilities to partner effectively and to guide a highly talented team of risk management consultants reporting to you. Minimum Qualifications


* Minimum Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

7-10 years experience as a senior risk consultant/manager with a demonstrated ability to drive improvement and change. 2-3 years management experience preferred.

Intimate knowledge of unsecured credit risk management, preferably in the small business arena.

Expertise in statistical modeling techniques (Multiple and logistic regression, univariate and multivariate statistical analyses, general linear models, ANOVA/ANCOVA, cluster analysis, CART &/or CHAID).

Strong knowledge and ability to use SAS, SQL and other tools to support analytical methods, database management, and communication of results. Knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio).

Expertise with consumer credit bureau data and preferably with business bureau data.
