Regional Mortgage Systems Trainer

This position is responsible for the training needs assessment, design, development and delivery of a quality new hire and ongoing systems training program for Bear Direct.net. The Regional Systems Trainer will use classroom training experience to develop training methods and materials to effectively train audiences at a variety of levels to external brokers and correspondents. This position will require a strong knowledge of all facets of the mortgage industry. This position will work closely with Management to keep abreast of policy and procedure changes to make appropriate changes to training materials. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a necessity for this position.
Essential Job Functions
•Design and develop a quality training method and training program for Bear Direct to service the external Brokers and Correspondents.
•Develop written training materials for end user that are precise and comprehensive.
•Work closely with Regional Sales Managers to develop a training schedule based upon sales needs and priorities.
•Facilitate training to a variety of skill levels within our Brokers and Correspondent network.
•Facilitate the development of a conducive and effective training environment.
•Create and maintain a database to monitor training activities, schedules, priorities, attendance and training needs.
•Develop a written testing process to access the success of the training program.
•Document test results to identify needed improvements in the training program and provide Regional Sales Management with performance reports.
•Interact with Management to keep abreast of corporate policy changes to make appropriate changes to the training materials or schedules.
•Provide ongoing excellent written and oral communication with internal and external customers.
•Interact with other departments in a professional manner ensuring teamwork
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 2 years experience in the mortgage industry.
•Demonstrated ability to train people with a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills and backgrounds.
•Adept at getting and maintaining the attention and involvement of classroom participants
•Exceptional articulation and interpersonal skills
•Self-starter that possess initiative, strong organizational skills, project management skills, decision-making and leadership skills.
