Job Description
Residential Construction Lender: This is an opportunity for an experienced lender, Commercial, real estate or mortgage, who understands the building industry and likes consultative selling. You will have significant advantages to offer your customers, a streamlined loan process, quick decisions on credit, draws processed in one day and much more. You will be taking over an established market with existing customers. There are two positions, one in Fredericksburg, VA and has the surrounding market area and the other position is in Richmond, VA and services that market area. Compensation begins with a competitive base salary plus monthly incentive pay based on your activity, production and quality of your results. Incentive pay typically adds 60 to 100% more income for their lenders. It is one thing to talk about service, it is all together another thing to pay your lenders for their face time with customers. You will also participate in an annual bonus based on the company’s performance that will significantly add in your income (50% to 70%). This is a great opportunity for the right person. Primary Responsibilities
Manage existing customer relationships and develop new business.
Expand existing relationships with clients.
Play an active roll in the credit approval and loan process.
Effectively pre-screen credits to identify key issues prior to handing off to the credit department.

REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications
Formal credit training or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of residential construction from land acquisition to finished construction.
Strong sales skills using a consultative approach.
Self motivated.
Professional presentation skills
