Processing Associate

Vanguard, one of the world's leading investment management companies, has an entry-level opening for a Processing Associate to provide accurate and timely processing of core transactions for retirement plan clients.

You'll review transaction requests for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to retirement plan provisions, and shepherd requests through the automated tracking system. As needed, you'll coordinate with other areas of the company to complete processing requests. You should maintain accurate, detailed documentation of each plan's processing and service level requirements. To verify the accuracy of all processing, you'll conduct quality checks. You'll communicate any client and/or Vanguard errors to relevant departments. When operational issues arise, you should resolve them or elevate more complex issues for resolution. All your work should be completed in accordance with Vanguard's policies, compliance and quality standards.

Your input on workflow improvements will be welcome and expected. You'll participate in Vanguard Unmatchable Excellence initiatives designed to achieve error-free processing. You'll also participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one year of related business experience, preferably in a retirement plan or defined contributions setting.
- Data entry experience.
- Working knowledge of PCs.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Good organization skills, with proven ability to multi-task.
