Looking for Personal Bankers to work in our Forest Lane, Westcliff and other Dallas/Ft.Worth area locations. Sells and cross sells ViewPoint Bank's products and services in our in-store branches in the Albertson's, Kroger and Tom Thumb grocery stores through in-aisle selling, PA announcements, follow up and in person. Responsible for meeting monthly sales goals. Provides exceptional member service and demonstrates ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Performs various duties including teller functions, new account openings and taking loan applications in addition to sales activities.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Selling ViewPoint Bank products via in-aisle selling, PA announcements and follow up activities with a focus on asking shoppers for their business.
Obtaining solid knowledge of ViewPoint Bank products and services, including the features and benefits.
Providing excellent member service including making eye contact, smiling, acknowledging members who might be waiting in line and using the members name at all times.
Focusing on every opportunity to ensure that our members account needs have been met and cross-selling additional products and service based on the members needs.
Performing paying and receiving teller functions. This would include deposits, withdrawals, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable draft instruments, processing loan payments, savings bonds, money orders, cashiers checks, and travelers checks.
Performing new account openings, providing loan information, initiating/processing/closing loans. Obtaining proper signatures and fees/charges associated with loans.
Closing accounts and maintaining membership when possible.
Placing and receiving phone calls related to member business and sales.
Maintaining required level of accuracy on work received by operations, collateral and loan review departments.
Follows all security procedures, maintains standards in handling cash drawer and balancing. Completes branch regulatory forms in an accurate and timely manner.
Demonstrates a commitment to the team and success of the overall branch.
Presents a professional appearance and demeanor at all times to members, co-workers and store employees.

Financial background is a plus but not required.

Branch locations vary. Now hiring in Grapevine Forest Lane and Flower Mound areas.
REQUIREMENTS
One year certificate from a college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training required.
This position requires proven sales experience.
Candidates must be self-starters; goal and people oriented; flexible in their schedules and have the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at one time.
Financial background is a plus but not required.
Must be professional in appearance and conduct at all times. The In - Stores must adhere to the dress code for the environment.
