Full Job Title: Operations Program Analyst 2 Skills Management Title Program PlannerJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Successful candidates will have broad knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and processes and under general supervision will have responsibility for providing Manufacturing Operations program planning support for Program Integrated Product Teams or Developmental Manufacturing Project Teams involved in aircraft and mission hardware design, development, procurement, fabrication / assembly, and installation. Specific duties may include: Gathering and analysis of work statement to provide integrated baseline planning, master phasing plans, detail scheduling, schedule analysis, recovery planning support, and 'what if' assessments in support of current program contracts and proposal activity. Supporting program change commitment processes, assessing impacts to existing schedules and developing / coordinating change implementation plans. Providing general scheduling support of team activities through the application of project management skills to develop/maintain project statements of work / schedules, manage budgets, and develop/track performance metrics. Development of unique risk assessment and mitigation plans and coordination of production capability and resource requirements across multiple manufacturing centers including negotiation with internal and external customers and stakeholders to resolve issues. Preparation and input of requirements into Boeing company business systems used for scheduling and managing product definition, procurement, and production. Lead cross-functional teams in support of new product development. Duties include leading teams throughout the product development life cycle from the proposal phase through authorization to proceed and execution. Projects are primarily focused on developmental manufacturing supporting large-scale structural composite fabrication and assembly efforts for various BCA and IDS Programs. Operations Processes: Complete knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines (e.g., Fabrication, Assembly, Tooling, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering). Complete knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-operations processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Logistics). Proj Sched & Resource Mgmt: Complete ability to create comprehensive project schedules which identify time frames for key project milestones, direct and manage more complex project schedules, independently identify project resource requirements, collaborate with others on more complex projects assigned, and assist others in complex large scale projects.Notes: This requisition is for multiple positions on various IDS programs in Puget Sound (e.g. F/A-22, MMA) and Puget Sound IDS Developmental Manufacturing Project Integration. Work assignments for selected candidates will be determined by matching each program¿s specific skill requirements to the individual candidate skills and attributes after the interview and selection process.
