Operations Development Manager

The position of OPERATIONS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER is responsible for management, supervision and direction of our operations departments including information technology, bookkeeping, data processing and consumer loan processing. This position's primary objective is to develop and maintain an operating system for all bank products and services through research and development, systems and technical support, support functions and departmental integration.

Establishes goals and objectives for all reporting departments in line with the Bank’s vision. Reviews progress toward goals and ensures departments have the tools and personnel needed to meet goals.

Supervises operating budgets, business planning and strategic development.

Ensures compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Oversees the development of policies and procedures, including testing, training, implementation and updates as needed.

Ensures that reporting departments are fully informed on organizational development, objectives, policies and procedures.

Analyzes and assesses relevant training needs, works with education department to determine if training can be accomplished in house or with an outside vendor.

Oversees the implementation of system changes to support new products and recommends changes to more efficiently and effectively support services offered.

Conducts performance evaluations for all staff in a timely manner. Sets personal goals and objectives with direct reports and monitors their progress.

Maintains professional relationships with vendors and association professionals.

Keeps up to date on industry trends and applicable laws. Analyzes and interprets trends to facilitate planning.

Builds constructive and effective relationships to support a collaborative working environment by managing and motivating teams.

REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of six years in FINANCIAL INSTITUTION management, preferably in the operations area.
