Office Manager/Customer Support Specialist

Title: Office Manager/Customer Support Specialist

Vermont Information Consortium (VIC) operates the Vermont.gov portal on behalf of the State of Vermont. We provide Internet-based electronic government services that reduce costs and provide a higher level of service to businesses and citizens. We are currently seeking a creative, energetic individual to join our team.

VIC is seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail who is experienced with customer support both in person and over the phone. Responsibilities for this job include answering general customer inquiries, maintaining billing information for customers, provide support for customers using Internet based services built by the company, researching and resolving any customer billing questions, and general office management, including ordering supplies and clerical support.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to have a minimum of one year customer service or office management/ administrator experience. Microsoft Word and Excel experience is highly desirable, and excellent customer service skills and strong organizational abilities are a must.

Our offices are located in Montpelier, but the company is nationally oriented with growth opportunities available. This position is full time with a competitive salary and benefit package. Local candidates are preferred as relocation expenses are not available.
