Non-Prime Loan Processor

The purpose and scope of this position includes, but is not limited to the gathering, reviewing, and validating of documents, submitting files to the underwriter, preparing the loan documents, and clearing the underwriting and funding conditions. They are also responsible for maintaining positive and open communication with the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES, SPECIFIC DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*Review all files and make the initial contact with the customers.
*Collect, review and validate documentation.
*Prepare and submit the loan file to the underwriter.
*Clear all underwriting and funding conditions.
*Review and send out the Loan Documents to the borrower for signing.
*Prepare and submit the loan file to the funder
*Adhere to policies and procedures dictated by DiTech.com.
*Work within guidelines, goals, and other DiTech.com policies and procedures.
*Maintain a level of competency in the day-to-day activities of the Loan Production department.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
*High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
*Two years Mortgage experience in a related role.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
*Ability to take initiative and responsibility for solving problems.
*Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Solid understanding of Loan Processing.
*Able to interface effectively and decisively with other units, departments and outside vendors.
*Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
*Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
*Strong personnel development abilities.
*Solid experience with continuous improvement process.
