Mortgage Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager

We are currently seeking a seasoned Wholesale Production Manager with sub prime experience in our wholesale branch. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years mortgage experience at the management level with lending Production and comprehensive regulatory compliance knowledge. The candidate must also have experience in managing to metrics; must be adept at networking and recruiting; must have in-depth knowledge of underwriting and loan origination systems; and must be able to easily assimilate new technologies to advance the success of branch.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide training and education essential to the needs of support staff.
Implement and support all FFFC branch policies and procedures.
Oversee production of sales calls, technical support, financial output, and be able to solve problems regarding customers and employees.
Deal directly with brokers to resolve operational issues and concerns.
Serve as an advisor to Branch Manager in the hiring and termination process of employees as well as interviewing potential employees.
Periodically evaluate the work performance of all current employees.

REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS REQUIRED:

Extensive knowledge of branch Production, laws and regulations that govern the mortgage and banking industry.
Knowledge of technical equipment utilized at the branch level.
Effective communication (verbal and written) skills.
Knowledge of loan origination, processing, underwriting, closing, shipping, and post closing.
Comprehensive understanding of all support positions.
