Mortgage Loan Processor II

Reviews all new loan application requests to ensure that all required forms and/or documentation have been provided by the borrower. Prepares and sends out all pertinent regulatory compliance disclosure material based on data provided by the RMC mortgage Loan Representative. Opens new loan packages upon receipt of application. Pre-qualifies borrowers based on the current mortgage credit policies. Inputs data for the processing and packaging of conventional mortgage loans for single family 1-4 properties. Provides support to the loan representatives, underwriting, document, and closing departments. Assists supervisor and underwriting area in pipeline planning.Job Requirements

Minimum 3 years of loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or related financial institution (specifically in conventional or standard industry guidelines) required.

Proficiency in the review of tax returns and financial statements required.

Knowledge required of FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry guidelines.

Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations (e.g., Respa, Reg Z, Reg B, Ecoa, state fair lending) required.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required to effectively interact with all levels of Bank personnel, clients, and outside agencies.

Ability to use and operate adding machine and financial calculator (HP 12C)required.

Must be computer literate with experience in Microsoft Word.

Must be proficient in industry standard mortgage software, preferably Mortgaware.

Ability to work under deadlines required.

Good organization and planning skills required.
