Manager, Disbursement ControlThis position manages and provides support to the Wholesale Lending Division (WLD) Wire Department.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Ensuring that written policies and procedures are in place to protect the Division from financial risk associated with disbursement of funds to closing agents.

Conducting regular audits to ensure adherence to existing policies and procedures.

Managing the daily processing of Wholesale Division wire transfers, approved payee database, outstanding funds and Payment Problem reconciliation.

Monitoring and reporting the level of performance of the disbursement staff and the WLD branch network by conducting and publishing regular audits and making operational changes as needed.

Reviewing, investigating and resolving outstanding payment problems as they become escalated from the disbursement staff.

Working closely with Countrywide Home Loans Legal Department, the Countrywide Home Loans Compliance Officer, title companies, escrow companies and closing agents to resolve closing and disbursement issues as they arise.A successful candidate will have:

College coursework or equivalent.

7+ years experience, encompassing finance, accounting, customer service or wire transfer tasks.

Technical proficiency in the loan closing process.

Extensive knowledge of Windows-based software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.The ideal candidate may also possess:

Familiarity with statutory requirements.
