Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice offers companies professional transaction experience. We help clients determine the right deal to do, and then assist them in doing the deal right. Within TAS, our Valuation group helps clients understand the value of their business, their securities, intellectual property, capital equipment, real estate, intangibles, and other assets. E&Y Valuation is comprised of several key areas, including Business Valuation and Capital Equipment. We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our talented and team-oriented group. Responsibilities Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, which primarily assist in providing valuation services across a spectrum of senior management needs including: management planning; mergers and acquisitions; financial reporting; tax and regulatory compliance; restructuring and reorganization; and corporate strategy. Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed; develop new and creative analyses to prove key assertions across multiple work streams; present findings to clients via reports or presentations; and maintain relationships with clients at appropriate levels. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, or national valuation firm or experience in the valuation practice of an accounting firm achievement of or significant progress towards a CFA; ASA/AM designations are a plus with the expectation of one completed designation within a given timeframe the ability to manage project expenditures against budget and revenue, and provide sound guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables excellent analytical, project-management, communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint The successful candidate must be committed to staying at the cutting edge of financial and accounting standards.
