This position provides leadership and management for multiple branch sites within a given territory ensures profitability, growth and sound operation; and is responsible for retention and development of teammates, as well as ensuring the profitability, growth and sound operation of all branches.
Responsibilities include:
Exceptional Teammates:Coach, train and develop teammates within all market locations. Also responsible for identifying and developing future leadership talent.Model and teach the consultative sales process.Serve as backup resource to the Regional Group Manager.Be a leadership model for other branch managers.Must set clear performance expectations as well as clear sales and service goals for each teammate.Conduct observations and formal coaching sessions with each teammate around sales, service and operational performance versus goals.Allocate time appropriately and equally to ensure leadership impacts between all market locations.Conduct a minimum of 5% of all teller transactions in the market to demonstrate and coach around effective execution of transactions, and the opportunities to provide outstanding service and sales through customer interactions that begin in the teller window.Timely completion of all quarterly and annual performance reviews.Effective and timely communication of information to all teammates while ensuring understanding and comprehension.
Sales:
Develop and implement business plan to exceed sales and expand customer relationships.Responsible for the expansion of FMB/Ukrop’s customer penetration levels, including deepening and enhancing current FMB customer relationships.Coach and direct performance of teammates to meet and exceed sales and growth goals.Responsible for the consistent execution of sales activities and strategies.Foster a high energy focused environment for outstanding sales and service results.
Operations:
Make and communicate credit decisions outside state.Foster teamwork and cohesiveness between all market locations, including coverage, training and support.Ensure that policies and procedures set by the bank are followed by all teammates (i.e. Over and Short Policy, New Account Opening Guidelines, Hold Policy, Check Cashing Guidelines, Exceptions Desktop).Manage market expenses while optimizing income (i.e. promotional dollars, refund decisions, notary fees, teller’s checks).Maintain and review branch controls and audit procedures monthly at all market locations to ensure required controls are in place and to identify and correct potential gaps.
Brand Identity:
Promote the bank through community involvement and making outside business development calling.Shall lead and develop the partnership between FMB and Ukrop’s teams at all in-store locations.Shall lead and support the ongoing marketing strategies, plans, contests, promotions and focuses in all market locations, to include floor marketing and Public Announcements.
Service:
Model external and internal customer service standards and ensure full adherence by all teammates.Resolve complex customer issues.
Additional Skills:
Ability to manage multiple sites.In-depth knowledge of both Consumer and Small Business lending.Demonstrate effective sales management.Demonstrate business acumen and understand of bank’s profitability.Awareness of emerging retail banking trends.Ability to analyze and retain information.Demonstrate effective interviewing skills resulting in the hiring of qualified teammates that reflect the diversity of the respective markets.
