Loan Performance Analyst

Responsible for regular standard reporting of pertinent information to both internal and external parties
Responsible for responding to ad-hoc requests and performing special projects as requested by management or as a result of independent research, and providing loan performance trends to Production and Servicing departments for corrective action with recommendations
Ensure that the data found in internal databases is correct. When necessary, coordinate data providers to rectify discrepancies.
Responsible for creating and distributing Delinquency, Prepayment, Default and Roll Rate analytics with appropriate commentary
Communicate results to Senior Management via presentation materials andor formal presentations
Become proficient user of LoanPerformance applications including TrueStandings Securities, Text Data, PreTell and Servicing Scorecard
Improve existing internal models and reports as needed to make them more efficient through automation
Obtain, scrub and maintain data in SQL databases that is derived from third party sources as needed
Evaluate, operate and maintain third party Default and Prepayment models as needed. Work with third party Servicing Advisor to resolve issues.Competency:

Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.Minimum 5 years experience in the mortgage industry, with at least 3 years experience in loan performance analytics. BS/BA in Finance, Business, or Statistics preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe, VB, SQL and SAS experience preferred. Prefer prior experience with the LoanPerformance suite of products, including but not limited to, TrueStandings Securities, Risk Model, and PreTell.
