Loan Officer Assistant

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Loan Officer Assistant provides administrative support to the Loan Officer in the production of loans. The Loan Officer Assistant will work closely with the Loan Officer and the Branch Operations Staff to investigate and eliminate problem situations and seek support to resolve when appropriate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Supports the Loan Officer
•Process application data
•Generates routine reports regarding sales results and tracking
•Answers general questions about the organizations products and/or services
•Coordinate with the branch operations staff and the Loan Officer
•Prepares correspondence, reports and memoranda
•Various administrative tasksJob Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
•High school diploma is required
•One or more years experience in an office environment. Mortgage lending and or familiarity with loan processing a definite attribute
•Ability to work in a high volume, fast pace environment and successfully meet established deadlines and cycle time requirements
•Excellent telephone, computer and customer service skills
•Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
•Detail orientated and well organized
•Must be bilingual in Spanish
