The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience underwriting both Consumer and Real Estate secured loans.
SUMMARYPlans, directs, organizes and controls the activities and staff involved in administering the loan program. Reviews loan officer's underwriting for conformance to established loan policies, completeness of documentation, accurate preparation, and quality. Develops recommendations regarding loan policies and guidelines for review by management. Implements controls to insure effective loan operations. Responsible for the employment, counseling, performance evaluation, training, motivation and discipline of assigned employees.Responsibilities include the following:
The daily supervision of staffInteracting with senior management and members on a daily basisPromoting a strong cross sales environmentMaintaining optimal efficiency levelsEnsuring all lending operations conform to current policyMaintaining compliance with respect to all State and FederalRegulationsThe attainment of productivity and quality service standardsMonitoring daily loan volume and productionImplementing employee training to assure maximum efficiencyReviewing current policy and procedure for changes as necessaryConduct employee performance evaluationsPerform Senior Loan Officer duties as requiredAuditing of loan filesPerform other duties as assigned
