Responsible for maintaining a delinquent loan collection program within established guidelines and procedures to minimize the delinquency status of the mortgage loan portfolio. Assist other loan counselors, as required, in the negotiation and collection of delinquent accounts.

1. Monitors all standard collection procedures according to the lender?s policy to minimize the lender?s loan delinquencies

2. Receives and analyzes incoming calls from delinquent customers and establishes a payment plan to bring the loan to the current state.

3. Work every account to conclusion.

4. Documents and maintains on-line collection history for assigned accounts, appropriately noting reason for delinquency.

5. Monitors/regularly reviews assigned delinquent accounts

6. Provides high quality service to internal and external clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Experience/Training:
Previous position involving interpersonal communication skills
