Venture West Funding, Inc. (VWF) is a full-service mortgage brokerage firm that specializes in arranging, structuring and placing with lenders loans secured by apartment buildings, commercial properties and single family homes for a diverse and growing number of property owners and acquirers.

Loan Coordinator

The Position-

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a temporary to possible full time hire position of Loan Coordinator in our El Segundo Office for approximately 15 weeks or more. The Loan Coordinator will directly support one of VWF's principals. The Loan Coordinator will become an integral part of a team of professionals that includes the Principal and Loan Processors.

Job Responsibilities-

Assembling prequalification loan packages and loan application packages, including completing loan applications and loan set-ups and ordering credit, title and other required reports
Managing the Principal's day-to-day active pipeline through constant communication with the Principal and Loan Processors
Proactively serving as a liaison between the Principal, the Borrower, the Realtor (if applicable), the Lender and VWF's Loan Processors to satisfy all loan approval conditions
Providing administrative support to the Principal as may be required

REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years of work experience in the mortgage business (e.g., banking organization, mortgage brokerage firm) required
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and loan processing software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to interact with other loan officers, staff, borrowers, realtors and other real estate professional
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills and a strong willingness to learn

The temporary position pays between $20 to $30 per hour, depending on qualifications of the candidate.
