Job Duties
Develop and continue to maintain relationships with multiple referral sources such as consumers, realtors, and financial planners.
Maintain working knowledge of an array of product lines to include conforming, non-conforming, and 100% financing loans.
Learn World policies, Underwriting guidelines, and Loan processes.
Accept applications from new borrowers.
Create presentations and facilitate training for the broker and real estate community.
Make outside sales calls and presentations to external organizations, and attend business functions and/or community events for networking.
Ensure applications consistently meet fundamental Underwriting standards.
Attend open houses in the area to represent and promote World products.
Maintain thorough knowledge of all of World?s real estate Loan programs for 1 to 4 units sufficiently to explain products in detail to borrowers, realtors, and other interested parties.
Maintain current knowledge pertaining to Underwriting and risk issues as policy changes.
Maintain familiarity with competitive programs in order to sell World products effectively against other lenders.
Work with broker and potential borrowers to complete applications and provide status of loans.
Maintain knowledge of pricing and broker demand procedures.
Understand content and intent of applicable fair lending and disclosure regulations, performing in accordance with the regulations and World policies.
Visit local Savings Branches to assist Savings customers in obtaining mortgage loans, when applicable.
Work a minimum of 40 hours/per week, which might include weeknights, weekends, and holidays.


Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Mortgage sales with extensive outside sales experience is required.
2 years in direct sales, 1 year as a Loan Representative or equivalent experience in real estate sales, Appraisal, or Underwriting.
Valid driver?s license and clean driving record.
Knowledge of Loan products and real estate values within the area.
Possess self initiative, creativity, and a desire for success.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Superior organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to create and execute an innovative, detailed business/marketing plan.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications.
