The benefits of working at Capital include interesting work, exceptional colleagues, a comfortable workplace, competitive salaries and bonuses, and health and life benefits from day one.The Computer Research Services (CRS) Lab Research Team is responsible for identifying, evaluating and recommending new technology to the Investment group. Research efforts are prioritized, documented and presented to mulitple governing bodies within the organization. This team works closely with other teams within the department to hand over approved products for implementation to end users.The team manager will be responsible for leading a group of four local associates and one remote associate.Responsibilities include:

Providing clear and frequent communication of research status to investment and technology support groups

Establishing relationships with department managers to understand research requirements and communicate current research status

Establishing relationships with other research teams within Capital Group

Overseeing research workload and resources

Defining and implementing development plans for associates

Overseeing the development and implementation of Web updates of research efforts

Interfacing and establishing hand-over procedures with the CRS Lab Operational support team

Staying abreast of new technology

Setting expectations for and monitoring performance of associatesQualifications

Minimum of two years experience in a team manager or supervisor role

Experience leading or working with project management team to implement new technologies within a global business environment

Demonstrated interest and experience in researching and recommending new technology

Strong project management experience leading teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills
