The benefits of working at Capital include interesting work, exceptional colleagues, a comfortable workplace, competitive salaries and bonuses, and health and life benefits from day one.This Investment Group Assistant based in West Los Angeles will provide administrative support one Equity Portfolio Manager/Analyst and one Equity Analyst. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering phones, word processing, filing, faxing, opening mail, maintaining databases, coordinating/ scheduling meetings, arranging travel, possibility of some personal work and research-related project work as time/workload permits. Hours are 7:30 - 4:30.Qualifications
Requirements include excellent communication/proofreading skills, strong attention to detail, strong computer skills, strong organizational skills, initiative, follow through, and a proactive team approach. Solid numbers background with the ability to create/comprehend spreadsheets and charts (Excel) is a real plus. Additional requirements include the ability to multi-task and meet business needs while remaining flexible with a strong customer-service focus. A great team player who is willing to provide support to others in the department is also needed. Good technical knowledge including intermediate Word/Excel skills required. Prior corporate administrative assistant experience desired; investment office experience a plus.
