In-Store Teller (part-time)

Looking for experienced tellers to work part-time in our North Dallas, Forest Lane, Grapevine, Roanoke and Wylie In-Store locations. ViewPoint Bank is located in Tom Thumb, Albertson's and Kroger grocery stores. Provides exceptional member service and demonstrates ability to work well in a team oriented enviroment. Performs various duties including teller functions as well as the items listed below:
Provide excellent member service including making eye contact, smiling, acknowledging members who might be waiting in line and using the members name at all times.
Focusing on every opportunity to ensure that our members account needs have been met and refers members to the appropriate department when members can benefit from additional products and services.
Performing paying and receiving teller functions. These transactions would include processing deposits, withdrawals, posting to general ledger accounts, cashing negotiable items, processing loan payments, bonds, money orders, cashiers checks, and traveler's checks.
Maintaining required level of accuracy on all teller transactions.
Follows all security procedures, maintains standards in handling a cash drawer and balancing. Completes all regulatory forms in an accurate and timely manner.
Ability to multi-task and be able to back up the Sales Associate, as needed.
Demonstrates commitment to the team and sucess of the overall branch.
Presents a professional appearance and demeanor at all times to members and co-workers.
Assists the Assistant Branch Manager with all other teller operations.
Performs reversals/corrections and approves checks according to policy.

Part-Time - 20 hours per week

In Store hours of operation
Monday-Friday: 9:45am - 7:00pm
Saturday: 8:45am - 5:00pm
REQUIREMENTS
ViewPoint Bank is looking to fill part-time teller positions. Branch locations vary. Now hiring for Addison, Carrollton, Dallas, Forest Lane, Garalnd, Grapevine, Plano, Richardson, Roanoke and Wylie.

Requirements for the teller position include:
High school diploma or GED.
Previous teller experience desired, but not required.
Previous ten-key experience a must.
Effective communication and member service skills.
Experience in handling heavy member/customer contact.
Candidate must have the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at one time and be detail oriented. Must be professional in appearance and conduct.
Must be able to work independently and have leadership ability.
