Financial Consultant

Under general direction, performs duties utilizing the retail office delivery system for consultative financial sales, including gathering pertinent customer information, choosing appropriate financial product to meet customer needs, presenting specific product recommendations, disclosing all product information, and answering customer questions; maintains knowledge of all aspects of investments, insurance, Trust, deposit, and other products offered through the Bank and be familiar with competitors programs; develops close consultative relationship with customers; conducts product and referral training meetings with branch staff; and cross-sells other products and services of the Bank and make appropriate referrals.
REQUIREMENTS
·BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field OR any combination of education, training, and experience.
·Two to four years of financial institution mutual funds/annuities or sales experience.
·NASD Series 7 license required; NASD Series 63 & 65 (preferred); California Life Insurance License required.
·PC proficient and experience with MS Office applications.
·Excellent Analytical skills.
·Knowledge of compliance procedures, practices, and issues.
·Able to work independently and with a team.
·Excellent oral and written communication skills.
