We are searching for a Financial Analyst / Financial Advisor for our professional services client. You will work with Business Development and support the business segments with financial analysis indicating industry trends, benchmarking/comparisons and variance explanations. The successful candidate will be a self starter who can proactively identify new analysis to perform. A few examples of existing analysis include monthly department reports, inventory analysis, client/timekeeper profitability analysis, rate setting and projections/breakeven analysis.

· Coordinates and interacts with other departments (primarily Marketing, Accounting and Human Resources) to provide consolidated, easy to understand reports and analysis.

· Exhibits a proactive approach in determining which analysis to run and communicating trends to department heads.

· Serves as financial contact with assigned departments and subsidiary heads.

· Coordinates with the accounting department to produce reports to fit the needs of department heads to include identifying department expenses.

· Assists department heads with departmental budgets.

· Prepares analysis for changes in staffing levels including potential new hires, laterals and terminations. Prepares variance analysis on department budget to actual.

REQUIREMENTS

6+ years experience in a financial analysis capacity.
A Bachelors degree with a major in Finance, Accounting or Business; MBA a plus
Excellent Excel skills including queries and database creation.
Previous exposure with client financial accountability.
Ability to analyze and conclude
Verbal and written communication skills.
Planning, organizational and presentation skills.
Good credit history is required.
