Director, Product Management - Home Loans

Senior Director, Product Management, Mortgage and Home Equity ProductsE*TRADE is strong player in a growth-focused consumer finance business. Our products include direct to consumer and broker originated mortgages/home equity products, credit card programs, and secured financing products including margin, and margin loans.We are looking for a senior lending business executive who will develop and execute strategic and tactical initiatives in this space. Key focus will be on delivering products and programs designed to grow economic profit and market share by maximizing originations, retention, utilization and margin management.Key responsibilities include:
Provide vision, strategic plan, and execution guidance, and work with sales and marketing to drive top line and bottom line growth.

Create an industry leading online experience for retail customers, with highly targeted marketing and lead manag!
ement infrastructure.

Analyze and respond to changing market trends, competitive environment, and making recommendations for new products or product changes. Introduce new and enhance existing product features and processes.


Manage a team of product managers to implement product development projects, meeting project goals and critical success milestones. Ensure strong partnership with internal technology team, and delivery of high quality business requirement documents and functional specifications.

Deliver on an industry leading loan origination system working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, operations, underwriting, and bank portfolio management teams. Support the development of lending policies and product pricing.


Liaise with Third Party vendors as required to facilitate the achievement of annual business objectives and project deliverables.


Ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.</!

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
University degree a must. Prefer Masters or MBA
10+ years of related work experience with at least 5 years in management roles.
In-depth knowledge of the residential Mortgage and Home Equity Line of Credit in prime and non-prime markets. Deep understanding of financial drivers in the mortgage industry.
Product financial analysis experience, combined with in-depth experience in new product development.
Strong analytical experience - working with performance indicators and determining action plans to improve results.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills; well versed in management & executive level presentation and brain-storming. Ability to assimilate and present data in a compelling manner
Demonstrated ability to solve problems & remove obstacles with little direction while maintaining positive working relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities & projects successful!
