Deposit Services Specialist

The successful candidate must show initiative and good judgment in handling the day-to-day tasks and priorities associated with risk based decisions to protect the CU against fraud and loss. The Specialist will be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment and have strong organizational skills. Duties will include maintenance, monitoring and document retention of CD/IRA items to ensure accuracy and proper application of rates. The Deposit Services Specialist will respond to all Federal Reserve adjustment requests and reconcile adjustment differences in a timely manner as well as proper handling of unauthorized checks, e-checks and affidavits of forged items according to UCC guidelines. Qualifications will include decision-making and effective communication skills, attention to detail, and an ability to prioritize demands, and flexibility.
