Credit Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for collection and compilation of data on prospective customers, National and assigned Regions. Assist in administrative support duties for the Credit Department, including preparing correspondence, updating financial and collection status of customers. Follows general procedures, but is subject to constant prioritizing and immediate judgment calls.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Predominant Tasks:
-Field calls from Region, Franchise, and National accounts
-Collection calls on assigned Regional, Franchise, and National Accounts
-Assist Director of Credit Services in the analysis of financial statements
-Perform profit analysis on Franchises as necessary
-Access information through Experian, Westlaw and Dun & Bradstreet reports
Assist Regions, Franchisees, and Sales staff in evaluating credit reports
-Prepare and update monthly 90-day financial reports
-Assist accounting in the application of checks and credits
-Assist with forecast of credits given within available promotions
-Verify and enforce Franchise eligibility in various promotions
-Provide weekly cash expectation report to assist with cash forecasting
-timely updating of promotional credits given for variance reporting
-Update weekly zone forecast
-Assist in updating Franchise and National accounts Financial and Collection status
-Notification of all necessary parties on NSF incidents
-Verify balances paid on mailings, approving mailings for production and mailing services
-Enforce various financing programs
-Account reconciliation’s
-Evaluate credit applications submitted by National clients and assign credit limit within $30k lending limit
-Evaluate Request for Consideration and make recommendations on prospective franchise Team members
-Constant interfacing with Accounting and Account Managers
-Interface with Sales to evaluate account status
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience - Bachelor degree preferred. Prior credit/collection and strong Customer Service experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities - Must possess strong negotiating skills. Team member must be able to maintain customer relations through positive and effective communication skills. Team member must be computer literate to include proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Team member must also possess excellent communication and professional phone skills.
