Communications Specialist

SUMMARY
Responsible for creation and distribution of all Operations communications to the field and Home Office. Maintains all published web pages, forms, and references, and provides support to Operations managers as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

•Write and edit copy for weekly e-newsletters, quarterly magazine, and corporate websites on behalf of Operations

•Review, distribute, and track external notices from vendor

•Maintain Operations forms library on the home office website

•Update Operations training presentations

•Assist with special communications to the field

•Interface with other in-house departments to identify communication overlaps and impact to Operations

•Assist VP of Operations with additional projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to work as a team member with others in the department and the firm. Ability to prioritize, strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and flexibility are required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a four year university and 2-5 years related experience preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional. Experience with Photoshop and Dreamweaver a plus.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Series 7 license preferred but not required.
