Collections Manager

A Growing, Independent Auto Finance Company, seeks an experienced Collection Manager to manage its sub-prime portfolio. In this position you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 employees & will be responsible for all departmental activities including the overall delinquency of the portfolio, repossessions & the sale of assets thru auction. As a part of an aggressive & growing mid size company, you'll enjoy a dynamic & energetic environment, work directly with a talented team of Senior Managers & enjoy state of the art tools & systems. This position requires a manager that enjoys routine hands on involvement supporting the primary activities of the collectors. In addition we require a pro active, "take charge" leadership style that encourages & actively supports team building & inter-departmental cooperation. In order to be considered you'll also need to demonstrate outstanding communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience managing a team of 7+ collectors & a portfolio of 3,000+ accounts. Must be proficient using Excel. This position requires fluency in both English & Spanish. Compensation includes an excellent starting base salary, monthly bonus & benefit package. LA19859
