CLOSING MANAGER / FUNDING MANAGER - MORTGAGE

Job Description:

•Supervise the Closer Team Leader, Closer I, II and III, Paralegal, Paralegal Team Leader positions.
•Manage, direct and lead the work of the Closing department in order to drive closings and fundings.
•Ensure that team adheres to quality control standards as determined by the company’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
•Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and characteristics.
•Manage and organize team members’ workload in order to generate efficient closing of loan files.
•Utilize judgment and experience to set goals and monitor departmental workflow.
•Advise and assist team members with deal issues that may arise.
•Complete various reports and summaries.
•Oversee and approve team members’ work hours.
•Conduct interim performance reviews and evaluations for team members.
•Approve files and sign off on various forms (such as HUD-1 forms).
•Ensure that team members adhere to the company’s quality control standards, policies and procedures.
•Complete special tasks as assigned by Director of Operations.
•Attend meetings, leadership development classes and training sessions.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:

•Mortgage industry experience
•Assist Branch Manager with supervision of loan closing associates, ensuring high morale, excellent customer service and maximum volume and profits.
•Must have previously supervised, hired and trained employees
•Must be organized with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Strong computer background with 3 to 5 years experience in mortgage software and working knowledge of Excel and Word for Windows.
