Business Systems Analyst, Consultant
Primary Responsibilities Include:

Defining, facilitating, implementing, maintaining and supporting Information-Systems solutions to meet business needs.

Conducting research and analysis of business requirements, problems and available technologies to define systems solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Using appropriate research tools to analyze business requirements and problems.

Defining scope.

Performing cost-benefit analysis.

Defining Business-Systems specifications.

Devising and/or modifying procedures based on computer-equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and format of desired results.

Understanding the business implications of technology solutions.

Acting as an interface to System Developers and Programmers in the development of Information Systems.

Participating in Testing and Quality-Assurance functions.

Researching, analyzing and providing recommendations regarding the use of new technologies.

Significantly influencing final decisions that have a substantial impact on departmental, business-unit and/or company-wide Information Systems.

Providing significant input regarding departmental goals and objectives and identifying the resources required to achieve them.

Providing analysis, recommendations, consultation and expert advice.

Leading large, complex projects that have long-term, company-wide and/or business-unit impact.

Regularly developing creative and innovative solutions to Business-System challenges for which little precedent exists.

Identifying and implementing leading-edge technologies.

Applying specialized knowledge of business needs and processes to formulate system scope and objectives that are essential to organizational plans and industry requirements.

Marketing and presenting projects to Senior Leadership.

Securing buy-in on complex and/or novel assignments that require development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures.

Defining and developing implementation processes.

Independently coordinating and leading project teams.

Completing assignments that require significant judgment and initiative in resolving problems, providing recommendations and making decisions.
A Successful Candidate Will Have:

Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Business, Finance or related field (and/or equivalent experience).

10+ years of Business-Systems and/or related experience including at least 2 years of first-line supervisory and/or leadership experience.

Technical-Leadership experience-including experience successfully leading multiple highly complex Technical-Projects.

Recognized expertise in at least two Business-Systems areas.

Comprehensive knowledge of Project-Management and Operating policies, procedures and practices.

Ability to provide Technical consultation on complex projects.

Specialized knowledge of major organizational Business-Processes and Systems-Architecture.

Ability to devise and/or modify procedures to solve highly complex technical problems.

Excellent analytical and verbal/written communication skills.

Ability to effectively collaborate with Senior Leadership and a variety of internal Client-Groups.
The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:

MBA and/or Post-graduate degree.
