Business Consultant

The University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network (UHSBDC) is seeking experienced business consultants.
Position responsibilities
- Focus on identifying and assisting clients apply for traditional and non-traditional sources of financing, and include conducting company business and financial assessments, evaluating business and financial strategies, and developing
financing proposals for bank and non-bank lenders and equity investors.- Individuals will work with diverse products and services in varied industries to help
entrepreneurs and small business owners get started, operate, build and expand.
REQUIREMENTS
Position will be headquartered in Houston and requires a minimum of five years relevant work experience in banking or finance. Background for all positions should include practical knowledge and experience in business planning, operations, management, finance and marketing.
MBA preferred.
