Builder Loan Officer

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Servicing assigned builder communities
Building and maintaining relationships with borrowers
Acting as liaison between builder and customer
Advising on the best loan programs to meet customer’s needs
Reporting loan status to builder
Attending builder scheduled events
A Successful Candidate Will Have:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience originating residential-loan applications
Knowledge of builder business
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with these customers and other business partners
Thorough understanding of the selling process
Experience developing and implementing targeted-marketing and targeted-sales plans
The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of and experience with pre-qualification principles and practices, HELOCs and fixed seconds
Ability to cross-sell
Knowledge of conventional (conforming and non-conforming), FHA and VA loan-products
Ability to price and originate all loan-types
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent presentational and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours (with mandatory weekend-availability) on a regular basis
Strong PC proficiency (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
