UBS-I is looking for a dedicated Branch Sevices Associate (BSA) who can provide operations support to our Financial Advisors.Role OverviewBSAs work within a local Branch of the UBS International division and reports to the Operations Manager. BSAs support Financial Advisor(s) to ensure that all client transactions are completed in a timely and efficient manner.They execute a variety of service requests from clients including account maintenance, funds disbursement, journal entries, etc.In addition, the BSA provides overall operational support to the Financial Advisors including bookkeeping, cashiering, order entry, reporting and records reconciliation and serves as a liaison with other areas to research issues.They also act as intermediaries to other internal Branch clients, including management, Client Service Associates, and Branch Technology Liaisons.UBS is an equal opportunity employer
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) strongly preferredPrevious experience working in a financial services operations environment preferredExcellent phone etiquette, proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelProfessional demeanor; possesses a positive attitude and demeanorHas quick turnaround discipline; high attention to detail and personal standardAbility to use good judgment, recognizes urgency and takes appropriate action; can handle confidential informationHighly organized and able to prioritize; ability to multi-task in a highly visible fast-paced, team-oriented environment and think outside the box
