Branch ManagerJob Summary:*Responsible for generating, maintaining, and servicing profitable business and retail relationships of a branch office
*Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of a branch, including the management of exempt and non-exempt employees.
*Leads branch sales meetings to set goals and follow up on results and possess an in-depth knowledge of retail and business products and services*Ensure sales and cross-selling techniques are utilized for branch sales traffic.*Acquires new accounts through profiling and following through on referrals.*Provide quality customer service and educate employees on all levels of customer issues.*Demonstrate leadership and take ownership in institutional relationship management of key business and personal relationships.*Proactively develops business with existing clients.*Establish new accounts through profiling, referrals and outside sales calls.*Develops relationship management with other business lines.*Manages administrative duties in the branch.*Conducts timely and meaningful performance reviews for Branch personnel, coaching and counseling as necessary.*Resolves performance issues.*Reviews and plans career/skill development of branch staff; monitor progress.*Ensures operational process and guidelines are adhered to.*Provides direction and/or handles more complex transactions.
*Typically manages a branch with Outstanding loans and deposits $15MM to $40MM; less than $25MM in a high opportunity growth market. Manages 7 to 10 employees and/or transaction volume typically between 10,000 and 12,000 per month.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills:
*Previous Branch Banking Management and/or leadership/supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to train, coach, and counsel employees*Effective oral and written communication skills
*Previous strong sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding personal and group sales goals across a broad range of products *Must have the ability to improve team performance through skill development and by "leading by example".*Previous management and/or leadership/supervisory
*Ability to manage a diverse group of employees with different levels of skills and knowledge*Previous cash handling experience*High School Diploma or GED*Basic computer skills
Preferred Skills:*Possess an in-depth knowledge of retail and business products and services
*Series 6 and 63 licensed and/or state insurance licensed.
*Business Banking experience.
*College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
