Branch Operations Officer and Assistant Manager Job Description:
Responsible for the Branch Operations activities including approval of large deposits, NSF account management, handling of high volume activity accounts
Personnel management including performance reviews, counseling, scheduling and training
Supervise and manage Branch cash management
Review all work for regulatory compliance
Must possess in depth understanding of BSA/AML/USAPatriot Act
Able to open and approve new accounts ensuring all required documentation has been acquired and recorded
Prepare branch monthly certifications
Responsible for premier customer service
Report to Branch Manager and assist as required

REQUIREMENTS

Branch Operations Officer and Assistant Manager Applicant Requirements:

Required Experience: At least 5 years in an independent commercial bank as an Operations Officer with excellent bank operations, supervision, regulatory and training experience.

Required Education: Minimum 2 year degree or commensurate work experience.

This position requires in depth customer contact and ability to evaluate transactions on a risk based basis. Experience working in an independent commercial bank branch environment as an Operations Officer with supervisory experience is mandatory. Must be multi-task oriented, excellent at time management and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidate must have experience with the ITI/Fiserv systems. Compensation: base salary plus benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.
