Bilingual (Spanish/English) Branch Teller
FUNCTION:Responsible for performing diversified more complex administrative and staff support services relieving department manager of routine administrative duties. Uses own discretion as to work procedures and is required to use poise and tact in dealing with customers and others. Duties may vary depending on the specific area to which the individual is assigned.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:Duties include but are not limited to the following:1.Performs a variety of more complex administrative and staff support services such as drafting and rewriting letters, memos, and reports; types a wide variety of correspondence, manuals, statistical tables, records, etc. in final form; establishes and maintains department/customer records and files.2.Updates and maintains various records, reports, and files; compiles and generates reports.3.Administers programs, projects, or processes as assigned.4.Handles incoming/outgoing telephone calls with Vendors and visitors in a professional manner.5.Assists co-workers, Vendors and/or Visitors to resolve questions or concerns.7.May assist in training of junior clerical staff.8.Operates typewriter, PC (including word processing, spreadsheets, database, Internet, e-mail, etc.), dictation equipment, calculator, fax, copier, and other office equipment.REQUIREMENTS:1.High school education with clerical emphasis.2.Strong typing/PC skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and Access database {a MUST}.3.Two to three years secretarial experience.4.Ability to express ideas clearly both in oral and written communications.5.Basic understanding of Accounting practices6.Prior experience with processing of complex, detailed invoices.7.Strong problem solving and organization skills as well as able to Mult-task {a MUST}.8.Specialist training may be required (i.e. accounting, etc.).
