First Market Bank has an immediate opportunity for a customer driven individual to join our team as a Bank Secrecy Act Specialist. This position will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, case management and investigations related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering Control Act (AML) and the USA Patriot Act.
Position Description:
Monitor various banking systems, reports and daily transaction activities on an ongoing basis, report the results and take appropriate action to assist in preventing bank exposure and loss Conduct Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering Control Act (AML) or other investigations as assigned Assist in the preparation and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) Recommend and assist in the implementation of changes to processes and procedures that could deter exposure and possible loss Assist with the overall BSA Risk Management Program and provide guidance or assistance for all business lines within the bank Assist in awareness training and support

Minimum 3 years bank operations experience with two years previous compliance, BSA or related work experience strongly preferred Possess a general knowledge of investigative, audit and research techniques, procedures and related regulations Need to possess strong analytical and communication skills with detail oriented approach Proficiency in MS Office and strong internal customer service skills are necessary
