Assistant Consumer Loan Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for the training and development of Lending and Loan Adjustments staff, coordinating schedules, and assisting with performance appraisals. You will oversee preparation of periodic statistical activity reports, resolve member complaints, audit employee consumer loan files, review/approve loan applications, and work with branches/other departments to assure efficiency and effectiveness of all aspects of consumer lending including loan collections. You will also review loan delinquency and prepare charge- off recommendations.
Normally requires a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent and 6 years of current and progressive experience within the functional area (2 years must be in a management role within a financial institution). You must have knowledge of consumer, collection and bankruptcy regulations and possess superior leadership, communication, member services, and PC (MS Office) skills. You must also be able to create an effective team and work in a fast-paced environment.
Membership & Community Development Coordinator

In this role, you will direct/administer membership and community development efforts. You will assist with promotions at new & existing designated employer groups and community events (including advertising and PR), support branch development efforts, and assist with coordination of education seminars. You will also coordinate and participate in outreach at community events and serve as the primary information source for management planning by analyzing designate group and community-based requests for service and program changes.
Normally requires a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent, along with 7 years of current and progressive experience in a financial institution with emphasis in business development and/or sales. Flexibility in work schedule and work week is absolutely essential, as are a clean DMV record and superior member service, communication, leadership, project management, and PC skills. You must be able to motivate a team, build consensus, and interact successfully with community/key contacts, members, staff, management, and vendors. Advocacy experience and good knowledge of banking operations and applicable industry regulations are a plus.
Specialist - Loan Collections

In this role, you will collect delinquent loans, over-limit accounts, returned loan payments, and returned deposit items by phone, in-person and/or by mail. Duties include performing all skip-tracing functions, following up on all payment arrangement, consumer credit counseling, bankrupt accounts, notices of lien sales on all impounded vehicles, and assisting with payment workout plans. You will assign and follow up on accounts for repossessions, foreclosure, small claims assignments, attorney assignments and collection agency assignments. You will also prepare paperwork for security liquidation and collect deficit balances after sale, and represent the CU in bankruptcy cases.
Normally requires a Bachelor's degree or the equivalent, along with 4 years of current and progressive experience in collections and regulatory training, preferably in a financial institution. You must also have thorough knowledge of the Fair Debt and Collection and Fair Credit Reporting regulations and pass an annual in-house recertification. Superior communication and PC skills are also required. Knowledge of XP and notary is helpful.
