Area Services Representative/Accounting Clerk

Job Functions:
Process loan revisions

Handle dealer payments to manufacturers, interest adjustments, rate changes, dealer billings, and manual flooring setups.

Handle master note processing including equity advance requests, payments, and borrowing increases.

Handle general processing activities including check requests ATP setups, ACH file origination, dealer loan setups, and used inventory setups.

Support Area Office personnel to resolve account discrepancies and process adjustments. Provide backup support for Cash Services Department.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Required:
AA degree with business coursework in accounting courses

Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, finance industry experience preferred.

Knowledge of loan receivables and interest computations essential

Minimum three plus years experience in a computerized accounting or finance environment, including journal entry preparation, payment processing, and account reconciliations.

Strong attention to detail, must have the ability to prioritize, follow-through, work independently, and meet established deadlines

MS Office skills with definitive proficiency in Excel, Word and Access required.

Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment; flexible and cooperative
