AVP, Capital Markets - Securitization

Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: Capital MarketsResponsibilities: * Support senior transactors and deal teams by assisting in the entire securitization process including: data analysis, preparation of rating agency and marketing material, legal documentation review, internal deal approval, deal pricing, closing and funding coordination
Assist in the due diligence process by analyzing the credit and market risk associated with proposed transactions.
Prepare management reporting packages for Senior Mangagement.
Conduct capital markets research as requested and summarize for presentation purposes.
Respond to requests of Segment Leaders and others supporting our Business Partners.
Assist in selection process for third party service providers in connection with securitization transactions.
Develop understanding of how securitization can help GE achieve growth and income initiatives.
Acquire increased transaction experience necessary to develop into a Lead Transactor role.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Must have prior securitization related experience.
Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong financial analysis/modeling skills and knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Teamwork skills - accountability, dependability, timeliness.
Desire to work hard and learn quickly.
Ability to work independently and with colleagues at all levels of the organization and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced working environment.
Must be willing to obtain Series 7 & 63 NASD registration.Desired: * Broad Capital Markets experience.
Project management & team leadership skills.
Understanding of accounting.
Knowledge of equipment leasing.
Strong presentation skills.
