AVP, Business Systems Analysis

Assistant Vice President, Business Systems AnalysisThis position plans, manages, designs, programs and implements software solutions to automate manual accounting and finance processes.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Streamlining existing manual processes and developing tools to automate all routine financial reporting.

Developing automated solutions for existing less efficient processes.

Providing technical support for existing financial systems and assisting the department in defining problems, enhancements and solutions to manual processes.

Preparing and documenting procedures for related applications.

Assisting Accounting Managers with integration and automation of board and other reports for senior management and all regulatory reporting.A successful candidate will have:

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Finance or related field with 7+ years experience.

Experience with Microsoft VISUAL BASIC, C, Dbase, Crystal Reports, Hyperion, and SQL stored procedures.

Experience with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office suite of software.

Significant experience dealing with the extracting, manipulation and reporting on data from multiple environments.

Knowledge and understanding of SQL and multidimensional database design and structure, as well as system modeling and data mining concepts.

Expert-level knowledge of financial systems and related controls and the management of these systems.

Broad knowledge of Banking, Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Superior and documented project management abilities to take systems from design to successful implementation and on-going operation.
