ASSISTANT TREASURER - Finance -

Under the direction of the Treasurer, ensures that processing, recording and review of all financial transactions are properly executed. Assists with the review and development of accounting policies and procedures to ensure appropriate controls are maintained and efficiency is maximized. Reviews and analyzes generally accepted accounting principles and recommends implementation as appropriate to the
Authority's financial
reporting system.

Assists with the preparation of all loan-related
financial data and descriptions shown in offering documents. Assists with the review of legal documents and prepares analyses/schedules for multifamily loan closings, workouts and REO sales.

Assists with the acquisition and disposition
analysis of servicing bank portfolios. Prepares
analyses for evaluation of non-performing single family assets. Assists with monitoring of servicing banks reporting related to all aspects of the single family portfolio from origination to REO disposition (including conveyance to insurers or guarantors, if applicable).

Assists in development
of new procedures and determining appropriate processing cycles related to new software
programs.

Requires BS/BA in
accounting or business administration and at least 5 years experience in general accounting and fund accounting in the
financial services industry. Requires knowledge of mortgage loan programs including public and private financing and loan servicing methods as well as FHA, VA and private mortgage insurance claim procedures. Must be detail oriented and
accurate. Must work well under pressure. Requires knowledge of MS-Excel™ and MS-Word™ at an
advanced level. Must
possess the ability to
become proficient at
an advanced level in
proprietary software.

Salary Range:

$69,204-$114,306
annually
