1st Vice President, Product Management
The primary function of Countrywide’s Correspondent Lending Division (CLD) Product Management department is the development of new sellers and to increase volume of existing sellers in our varying product lines. The secondary function of the department is to maintain a competitive array of products for our sellers, as well as standardize communication with sales and our seller base.
The 1st Vice President, Product Management manages the efforts for the CLD Product Management group. Work involves developing product volume from current and future sellers by working directly with sales force and product owners. Will also manage relationship between the production and operations departments.
Primary responsibilities include:

Manage the Product Development, Product Training and other groups as required in the development of production from current and future sellers.

Manage relationship between the production and operations departments in order to provide the seller effective coordination for delivery and funding. Continually monitor customer satisfaction through direct contact in order to create the highest level of service possible.

Maintain a consistent and accurate workflow within the department. Coordinate the department's priorities, training and recruiting efforts.

Manage the new product development and roll out process, including effective communication with sales, support, operations and the customers.

Maintain customer relations in the field to determine changes in specific seller needs. Routinely review product periodicals and research data in order to maintain excellent knowledge of competition.

Provide updated information relating to competitive trends in interest rates or product information with regional and/or national investors.
A successful candidate will have:

College degree, preferably in Business with emphasis in Finance/Accounting.

Strong selling, negotiation and financial skills.

Intermediate/Advanced computer knowledge.

Organizational and time management skills.

Strong familiarity with all mortgage products.

At least 7 years mortgage banking experience focusing on secondary marketing and/or product development and management.
