1st Vice President, Bank Communications
Countrywide's Corporate Communications Department is seeking a 1st Vice President, Bank
Communications to fill a critical role in the development and implementation of communications strategy for Countrywide Bank. Activities will be tightly knit with the objectives of the Bank and the Company's overall goals and will seek to leverage the Bank's activities as key builders of the reputation of the corporation.
Primary responsibilities include:

Will interact with multiple levels of management.

Developing and implementing communications plans, directing media relations activities,
developing business story ideas and taking responsibility for editorial management.
A successful candidate will have:

8+ years of PR firm and/or corporate communications experience.

Extensive and successful experience in implementing communications plans and in pitching to print and broadcast media.

Superior verbal/written communications skills.

Ability to counsel management on communications issues, effectively and tactfully managing differences of opinion.
An ideal candidate may also possess:

Knowledge of banking or financial services.

BA in English, Journalism, Communications or Business.
