Working with Linux systems in high availability configurations, you will help achieve increased Availability, Reliability, Uptime and Quality for our systems and services. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, has the ability to handle interruptions while switching between several projects, and takes a "work smarter, not harder" approach. REQUIREMENTS
Prerequisites:* B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience* 4+ years hands on experience with Unix/Linux* 2+ years experience supporting a hosting environment* Thorough knowledge of DNS, mail and web server administration* Proven ability to tune complex systems* Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancers, fail-over services and redundant routing protocols* Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues under pressure* Proven ability to design, deploy and maintain replicated database topologies* MySQL experience required* LDAP/Active directory experience a plus
