Provide a superior, friendly and efficient transaction, at the time of rental and return of vehicle, using the company-approved sales and service techniques. Facilitate the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to provide for an efficient and timely rental and return experience. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on the wants and needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.Responsibilities:
Use company approved sales and service techniques when determining customer needs. Offer all optional products to meet customer wants and needs.Make eye contact and greet all customers. Thank customers at the conclusion of their transaction.Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely.Qualify each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines.Offer all customers assistance with directions, maps, local area information and service information.REview rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates and service charges.Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.Answer the phone in a friendly, helpful and prompt manner.Assist customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues.Maintain the appearance of the rental counters and areas to present a neat and orderly image.Assist and coordinate customers within the queue to minimize any wait time and promote the most efficient service method.Perform other customer service related duties to ensure our service meets the needs of the customer.Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.2+ years of sales and customer service experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong sales capabilities with ability to effectively offer and sell incremental items.Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate instructions from management to other staff members.Ability to multitask, handle pressure situations and troubleshoot customer complaints.Requires ability to work flexible hours.ShuttlerSummary:
Move and position vehicles to various designated locations for servicing, transport and/or rental. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.Responsibilities:
Drive the vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location; leave vehicles positioned for best access by service agents, as directed by management.
Drive serviced vehicles to ready line area and park for easy access by customers as directed by management.
Deliver vehicles to other locations as directed by management, such as licensee locations, rail yard, auction sites, body shops, or other corporate locations.
Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management.
Answer customer questions or direct them to the appropriate person.
Perform other service-related duties to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers.
Management reserves the right to modify, change or delete assigned duties.Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
Minimum of 6-12 months experience handling similar responsibilities.
Ability to safely operate a variety of motor vehicles.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
Must have good communication skills; written and verbal.
Requires good customer service skills.
Comply with all uniform appearance requirements.
Requires some flexibility in working hours.Service Agent/Car DetailerSummary:
Prepare and service vehicles prior to rental includes; refueling, cleaning and washing, checking fluids and pressure levels of all vehicles. Perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicle for unidentified body damage.
Inspect vehicles to ensure safety equipment is in working order; lights, tires, brakes, wipers, horn, seat belts, mirrors and back-up lights.
Clean all exterior and interior windows and mirrors and vacuum interior, floor, seats, ashtray and trunk.
Provide positive customer service, including greetings, assistance with luggage and personal belongings, where applicable. Place items found in vehicles in lost and found. Direct drivers to drop off locations as necessary.
Drive the vehicle from drop off point to service area; drive vehicle through car wash and to ready line as necessary.
Refuel the vehicle and log identification number with fuel needed and mileage.
Ensure that the key tag is properly marked with the correct VIN or Unit number and license plate number.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Complete the out-of-service tag and ensure the vehicle is moved to the maintenance area. Reasons for out-of-service may include the following: preventive maintenance, mechanical problems, expired date for safety check or registration, or body damage.
Identify and pull cars that are eligible for turnback.
Identify and pull the vehicles that are eligible for turnback, flagged for grounding or preventative maintenance and verify their movement to the proper lot location.
